Phil Kraft passed away April 9, 2006.
Phil designed the original Ugly Stick back in 1965 that was featured in an RC Modeler article. Little did Phil ever imagine his Ugly Stick would remain in the R/C scene or go through so many incarnations through the years.
All of the Sticks on the market today trace their ancestry back to Phil's original humble model of 1965.
