9C question

Time for the stupid question. The radio came with an on-off switch. It has 3 wires extending from it. Do I connect the speed controller to it, then connect one lead to the 3rd slot on the receiver, with the last wire connected to a flight battery? I'm totally lost.
I might add that I've only used Hitec radios. This is new to me. And please don't tell me to read the instructions. I didn't find my answer there.:)

No the switch is only for use with separate receiver batteries e.g. glow planes. When you're using an ESC you don't use the switch.

BTW Hitec is exactly the same ;).
