GWS have to be up there, $60 for the plane great to fly and simple to fix if you dig a hole with it. I have 4 of them.

I normally buy items from tower hobbies but GWS doesnt post their manual in their. Im just curios, is GWS planes easy to assemble?.. I am intrigued with their warbirds.

GWS does have a few manuals on line. They can be seen at http://www.gws.com.tw/english/service/book/airplane_manual.htm

but I hate their suggested power systems. Really, really underpowered. I just spent a half-hour flying a highly modified Great Planes Basic Light Trainer (BLT - I call it sandwich two). Even in 10 mph wind was very controllable and with my power setup (e-flight Park 370 brushless/e-flight 5:3:3 gearbox/e-flight 10x7 prop/graupner 720 mAhr 7.2 v NiMh batt) got about a 15 minute flight on each battery. I trashed the first BLT (sandwich one) breaking the fuse at the landing gear. Kept the wing and rebuilt using 1/4 in balsa. 13 oz ready-to-fly! I added a few pics.
