Hello,

Where can I download a T-rex 450SE for RealFligth G3? I have a Blade CP heli, but I think I will upgrade to a bigger and more stable heli soon. It would be nice to try the T-rex on G3 to se how it is to control before I by one.

as far as i know you need to buy the expansion packs to get new planes and helis for G3.

however i do believe they are making some developmental tools for it which would then make it possible without having extensive knowledge of the software...i.e. user contribution enabled.

not sure if they have model builder though, me thinks its just rhino or some 3d program and then converted via the development kit.

checkout the forum at knifeedge.

I downloaded a Blade CP to G3 that worked nice without expansion packs. Thought it was a version of t-rex that could do the same

Ok, you said you downloaded a Blade CP, but you did not say where. I have a Blade CP Pro and a Blade 400, and I would love to have those models on my simulator. where do I get them?

Just checkout the swap pages linked below. Its for G4 and/or G3.5 versions. If you have G3 you can get a free upgrade to G3.5 at their site which I'll link below. The Trex custom made heli's are by far the best I've played around with for learning on. Look under A for Align and T for Trex to find the models in the swap pages.

Thanks a lot. Fortunately, I have G4. That can be perhaps a problem though. Most people have G3.5

I don't have G4 but I just checked out it swap pages. There's a nice Trex 600 nitro on there to download but no 450 size heli.

All in all, I personally would practice with the Trex 600 nitro over anything at the moment for the G4. Just my 2 cents, your mileage may vary.
