Dang you Bill! I've been watching for another Spektrum receiver. Guess I missed that one. I was able to get my new Spektrum DX6 system for $161 off E-Bay. I'm not sure why but there was only one other bid on it. I also missed the E-Flight Park 450 that was for sale today on this forum. I thought I got my e-mail in pretty fast but 2 other guys beat me. Oh well, you win some and you loose some.

Ok Steve I'll be quiet then:D

GH you win some you lose some. Like I said on that for sale deal today I bought a park 480 and 40 amp esc at theh LHS yesterday... could have saved a bit if I'd waited a day... oh well...

161 is great for the dx6 though!

If you watch carefully, there are some good deals to be had. I also got my E-Flight P-47 on E-Bay shipped for $62. It had a broken wing tip but they showed it in the picture. Other than that it was new in the box. The wing glued perfectly and you can't even see it. Hopefully it will maiden this weekend. It's got my new DX-6 in it.

It can reap some rewards but you have to look at tons of stuff to find a gem every now and then.

Used to you could get stuff all day long but so many commercial vendors are on there now it's harder to spot a good deal.

You also have to be very carefull of shipping costs. I noticed some El Cheapo electric RTFs for $1 but shipping was $49. That really should be against E-Bay rules to do that.

I believe it is against E-Bay policy, but no one is enforcing it. If E-Bay did, they would make more money and could then lower the fees they charge for selling on there which is the reason I stopped listing items for sale. Between E-Bay seller fees, and Pay Pal fees, its just not worth it anymore.
