SIG Manufacturing Co. has released a balsa kit of the Dornier Do 217 twin-engine light bomber for electric power. They recommend either (2) 370 motors with 3.7:1 gearboxes or (2) Himax HC2212-1180 brushless.
The model features CAD-designed, laser-cut balsa, molded cowls and canopy, decal sheet, full size plans, illustrated assembly manual and hardware. Specs;
Wingspan 47"
Wing Area 335 sq. in.
Length 37.5"
Flying Weight 30-35 oz.
Motor (2) 40-70 Watts
Price $99.99
3 or 4 channel control (rudder optional)
Apparently the landing gear is optional, there's info provided but no mention of hardware for it.
