Anyone know of an Aventura II with a single motor, (NOT THE TWIN MOTOR VERSION), that is available?
Thank's for any lead.

I used to own an Aventura (overweight ultralight) but my partner bashed it so we sold it. It was great fun landing on the Connecticut River.
I just built a semiscale - 38 inch wingspread with a 5.5 in chord.
Taxittest yesterday was a flop - the sponsons were not buoyant enought to
resist torque. I was using a 2-cell lipo and have a feeling that I won't get enough power for a water takeoff so next calm day I'll try 11.2 volts. Motor is GWS LPS B2C if that means anything to you. I doubt it will get me off.
I'm new at this - built free flight forty years ago.
Design is eyeball scratch with a big fin and rudder. I used one of a pair of 21-inch floats for the hull.
I'll try attaching a picture. no go - I have to shrink the file. If you want pix, let me know.

Thank's for your interesting reply.
I'm looking for the Hobby-Lobby ARF single motor version, which preceeded the current twin motor version now being sold by them.
Good luck with yours.
