I am using the DX6 with FMS. I can fly the planes just fine but none of the helicopters will react to the commands. I can go into the calibrate mode and it recognizes all 6 channels but none of the helis will react, any ideas?

have you assigned the channels to the heli axes?

i think from memory they assign by default to the airplane axes.

At a guess you haven't filled in the bottom 4 boxes on the LH "Mapping" side of the calibrate screen i.e. Tail, Nick, Roll, Pitch. They're the heli equivalents of Rudder, Elevator, Aileron and Throttle.

Okay, that is what I didnt know. On my setup, it shows the eight settings going to 8 channels. So I should change the bottom 4, Tail, nick, roll, pitch to the primary 1,2,3,4 channels?
Thanks for the help.

from memory, yes...they should be the same channels as for the aircraft settings.

I have never flown helis before, what does each mean.
I now use (like I think most) 1- Thr 2- Ail 3- Ele 4-Rud
I need to figure out where Tail, Nick, Roll and Pitch should be assigned to.
I am considering getting a blade or T-Rex and wanted to try my hand at it for now.
Thanks

What I meant by "They're the heli equivalents of Rudder, Elevator, Aileron and Throttle" was that you should put the same values in. I.e. Tail, same value as Rudder, Nick, same value as Elevator, etc.

I only know what they do, I've no idea why they're called what they are. I've never had any real interest in Helis ;).
