Good lord! They'd be better off with a Slow Stick.
They're going to fly that thing over one of the most congested urban areas on the planet. Wait until they lawn dart it through a BWM windshield on the freeway.
Can you belive $30,000 for that piece of "censored"

It's your tax dollars at work!
"The SkySeer would also be a helpful tool to nab burglary suspects on rooftops and to chase down suspects fleeing on foot. The drone comes equipped with low-light and infrared capabilities and can fly at speeds up to 30 miles (48 kilometers) per hour for 70 minutes."
If the perp runs upwind the Sky Seer may be outmatched. Heh heh

Saw this a couple days ago... when the PD was whining about being 'shot down' by the FAA as they didn't have a clearance to fly it. Good job FAA!!!!
The money being saved by not flying 'full scale' birds will be spent on 'professional grade' RPV pilots...and liability insurance... not to mention employing a platoon of lawyers to stave off law suits that are bound to happen.
"Please tell us Officer Dooright, how many hours of RPV flight training do you have? Huh?? And how many hours of "Pilot in Command of a RPV?" "Say what???" That will be all, thankyouverymuch!!!" "Your Honor, the Prosecution rests..."
