Transmitter output connector

I know that some RC transmitter could be used with simulator...

Is there different transmiter output type?
What are those types of output?
All types can be used with simulator?

Most RC transmitters have what they call "trainer" or "buddy" sockets. There are many different types but the difference is mainly just the shape of the plug you need. They will all work with simulators if you get the correct cable/interface to connect to the PC.
