I hope one of these works for you. The lead that seems the best is at the end, #3.
1. Flying Models issue #3 of 1991 may have a set of giant plans according to gasolinealleyantiques.com:
"1991 Issue #3 MILESTONES OF MODEL AVIATION. Giant scale plans: Piper Navajo Chieftain, Aeronca LC. near mint"
I couldn't preview the issue on http://www.flying-models.com/, but it is available there.
2. From RCUniverse, 5/5/2003: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_743394/anchors_743394/mpage_1/key_piper%252Cnavajo/anchor/tm.htm#743394
"Call Ken Kehlet-(405)-721-2782-- he sells very accurate plans for a 76" Navajo Chieftain. I am in the process of making a 114" chieftain, first out of conventional wood, but I will have molds for a fiberglass kit if enough people were interested. But call Ken, he's a nice guy, I bought a set of plans for $40.00 in a cardboard tube," Tell him I sent ya" I would be interested to know if others are interested in Navajos."
"Yes, I have the original Harold Osborne Scale R/C Plans for the Piper Navajo Chieftain 74" Span for two.40's."
3. Check this out from 3/4/2005:
" Here i post some pics of the last project,a Piper Navajo ,the fuse is molded in Fiberglass also the Cowls,it flies great, very smooth...
If you are interested i can give you plans, also fuse etc.."
Hope one of these helps. Good luck!
