Oh yeah! ;)
This airplane is on my to do list.
My first plane ride was in a maroon Voyager. I was about 12 to 14. (I'm pushin' 71 as I write this.) My mother made me dress up in a nice suit and tie. I have pictures someplace. The airport was a small grass field near Mt. Clemens, northeast of Detroit, Michigan. I am sure it is a subdivision now.
I sat in the back right with the daughter of the fellow in the right front seat (not the pilot). She barfed all over my nice suit. Arrrggghhh! Boy was I ticked!!
I will build this plane someday, using what ever details I can find in those pictures. I will power it with a big enough motor to do sailplane aerotows with it - which will fit right in with the other part of this hobby that I enjoy. :D One of the kit suppliers is asking $350 for what I expect is a short kit. Maybe Santa will be especially nice to me! :o
I will watch this thread also - maybe we will both learn something!
