Very nice Ken. Your finished model looks very nice. The logo looks like a clean, simple layout. The carbon model is nice. Are all the kit parts stock? Boom, fins ect... Again, very nice job Ken, I am almost done with my Quick build up, I will post some pics... Is it cooling off there yet? It is starting to get cold here. But moose hunting opens tom. morning and I am stoked. My wife said if I get my moose she will buy me an XRB for my B-day! (saves us that much in meat costs) Wives can be a wonderful thing. I see whole threads about hiding rc cost from your wife.. It is like I seen Debhicks post once "go look in the closet, I bet you find something new there". My wife loves cloths, I love rc. We both love our four wheelers. My wife doesn't fly rc, but she has a mean Kyosho "Twin force" I set up with a 5409L BL motor and a shulze 100 amp esc. UBEC (gotta have UBEC for steering servos)
Anyway Ken, tell the MRS. she has a very nice herb garden. I can't wait to see a pic of that pretty Logo in an inverted hover! I am still working on getting my Trex to sit still after rolling it over. Kind of an erratic 30ish foot circle. I guess practice is the fun part!
Thank you kindly for sharing your new Logo. Sorry for the long post. I kinda went off babbling. In person I am much worse. Blah, Blah, Blah!
Take care and keep your stick on the ice!
Jay

Hi Ken,
I snapped a few pictures of my Quickie Pro Kit. I am going to build today.
I am very happy with the quality. one thing I really like is you can mount the rudder servo from either side and it mounts right to the Main frame. I am ordering another kit on friday. The owner made me a deal I couldn't pass up. Anyway here is a Quickie 8 (Pro model) kit.....
1. What you see when you open the box, including free T-shirt:

2. The Decals Removed from the box:

3. The contents of the kit laid out on the floor:

4. The canopy sitting next to a Trex. (for a size comparison)

5. The Frame Plates. (Pro model)

Sorry for the huge pictures, I need to adjust my camera.
Take care and have a good one,
Jay

typically, one uses a y-adapter to connect the ubec or rx batt pack to a servo port on the berg6 (which does not have a 'bat' port.) i was pondering how to make the connection when my friend showed me how he wired his logo 10-3d. the gy401 has a single wire (signal) connector that plugs into rx channel 5 for remote gain adjustment. the ubec has a two-wire (pos, neg) connector that plugs into any rx channel port. so my friend combined the gy401 single wire with the ubec two-wire connector, resulting in a 3-wire connector (signal, pos, neg) plugged into channel 5. no y-adapter needed, and it works.
