I have just finnished my GP Flatana! I've got alot of mixed feelings about it so far. I might be slow but, the 3 hrs. assembly time didn't come close for me> Heck,I spent at least an hour getting the hardware cut out of the plastic trees! The inst. were very good, and the parts are all there! The assembly methods were diffrent than anything I've ever built, but once you get the hang of it,they aren't bad. I took alot of time making sure everything was straight while glueing the wing, and stab together, and it builds very straight, and true! The tail wheel is kinda rinky dink! Mine came with two holes in it. One for the carbon tube, and one for the rudder? I cut the second one out for the rudder,to a 90 degree angle and it worked fine. The airframe (including motor) came in at 5 oz. I added the doublers on the rear of the fuselage, and wish I haden't done so now! While using accelerator on the Ca,it warped the top of the fuse! They aren't really needed anyway (if you look at their other kits, they don't have them). If I build another, the doublers won't go on! I can't wait to fly the plane, but I'm waiting on parts(reciever, and servo's) plus the wind is really blowing here! I'll report back on how she flys, when I get her in the air. Ron:cool:

I Think that you will like the way it flies. I got a chance to fly a friends with the rimfire setup and really liked it. I have the Cap 580 and really enjoyed it until the wind knocked it down hard last weekend. It is a write off now.:( (pretty much flew straight in) I am getting ready to build the reflection. I am hearing really good things on it's flight performance. We will see...

3DNobody,do the other kits have that doubler down the fuse sides? Thanks Ron:confused:

The Cap did not have the "doublers". I assume that you are talking about the 45 degree braces that go on top of the fuse from the TE back to the tail... Those things really help reduce any tail flex, but the Cap seemed fine without them.

Yep! They are a real pain to install! Some foam triangle stock would be alot better. Ron:)
