Does anyone know why I would loose myn tail rotor on Real flight. It works at the beginning, but when I practice hovering I sometimes loose the tail rotor. I checked the failure settings and all seem OK.

Are you sure that you are not hitting the tail rotor. I do this all the time. It doesn't even look like you hit anything. In the same vien, you'll loose the gearbox on the electrics with a light prop strike.

is that the problem?

you can edit the tail rotor to make it smaller too... when you make a model with the rotor too large, it always hits the ground.
