Ele460fx

Hey All,
I had mentioned in another post that I was awaiting the ELE460FX for testing.
Well Guess what arrived via EMS today :)

I threw it in the cyclone 400 heli, and my jaw dropped :D
headspeed with a 11T pinion is INSANE! Power is UNMATCHED!

My setup on the Cyclone 400:
3 TPSG90 servos on the cyclic
1 SG50 on the tail
GY240
DN40A ESC
EP20C 1700-2200 3cell lipos
GWS dual conversion 8ch receiver (I was getting glitches w/ the DN6CH :confused:

as mentioned power is there..previously I was getting a little wag when I punched the pitch....the tail is now ROCK SOLID!

Oooh, shiny new motor:D Is this the 450TH "clone" you were talking about? I may have to try that one too when you are done with it!

I am currently experiencing some timming issues with the motor :(

I just found (thanks to a Shannon) that the JGF and similar 450th motors are NOT compatible with towerpro or Dynam controllers :(

I tested it with a CCTB18 and it works fine...but I cant use that in my heli :(
I'm currently searching for a new ESC to carry :)

I have another 2900kv heli motor comming for testing from ELE. The specs look decent, and the price is ~2/3 that of the 460!
