I purchased AFPD on Ebay but it did not come with a controller or cables. I figured I could use my radio from my G3 simulator and I think I am wrong.
Any ideas?

Am I understanding you correctly that all you got was just the CD?

Well I hope this isn't the case, but it sounds as if you got scammed. You should have also got a connecting cable with a USB plug on one end, and a Y connector with two plugs on the other end to either fit Hitec or Futaba TX's. Then they also make a adapter to fit JR TX's which has to be bought separately. They do make another version that comes with a TX to be used with AFPD. I hope you didn't pay to much :o. AFPD costs $180.00 at Hobby Lobby.

I don't think you can. You might want to contact them to be sure. Here is a link to their web site.

NOTE: The cable they show on the main page for 39.95 will not work without the original cable.
Was the person on E-Bay selling more then just one of these? Did they claim it to be new?

It looked to be the only one. The description did not say it was new and shame on me for not looking closer at it. I will try to see what the manufacturer can do for me. If not I guess I will chalk it up to expierence.
Scam me one.....Shame on you......Scam me twice....Shame on me! :)

He probably either burned a copy of the original CD to keep for himself, or sent you a copy. Then sent you the original box and instructions and kept the cable. You don't need the CD to use the sim once its installed on your PC. I doubt they will sell you a cable because of this reason. People would just burn copies of the CD and buy just a cable to get their money back by selling the original.

It appears to be the original copy. We will see what the manufacturer can do for me I guess.
Thanks

Jim,
I would go back to the seller, what he sold you is worthless:mad:, If he honestly didn't understand he should refund your money. To my knowledge they will only replace the cable if it is damaged or inoperable (for a fee) but you have to have the remains.
Try to get some satisfaction from E-bay, let us know how you make out.
Pete
