Made a quick stop at Bryce Canyon Nat'l park on the way down to Arizona to see my new grandson. Flight went well except take off and landing was crowded due to trees. I chose a place and time to be certain to have as few other people as possible. The only couple that saw me fly were very supportive and enjoyed it. I flew from the Fairyland trail head. I also threw in a couple of land based photos. I highly recommend visiting the park it is awesome.
I think the 1st two are land based (file name has an LB)

cool shots, I like that kind of landscape!

The third pic qualifies you for this thread!

Were you just a little bit nervous with that tight of a landing area?

Great shots! Some of you have an unfair advantage for submitting photos with scenery like that. Maybe I'll drive 15 miles to the Kansas border and see if I can get a contrasting picture of 300 square miles of wheat field. Now that would be exciting huh?

I flew back over the forest to an opening and landed there, it wasn't too bad. The take off was tougher, I had to take off in the narrow parking lot and gain enough altitude to clear some trees. But I was most nervous flying over the chasm.
I'll post in the other thread, you've got good eyes.
