I have an A20 Hacker motor and need to reverse the shaft so I can mount the rear of the motor against a firewall...is this possible ??

It is possible. I havent owned a Hacker outrunner, but they are similiar in design to the Torque outrunners. There should be a set screw at the back of the motor. Remove that, then remove the C-clip and washer on the front of the motor (I suggest doing this in a plastic sandwich bag to keep from loosing the C-clip). Pull the front can off and then you will have to apply pressure to the shaft to get it to slide back. What I dont know is if the Hacker outrunners already have a groove cut into it that will accomodate the C-clip after the shaft is shifted. If not, then you will need to cut one in.
