Hobbymatrix....I am a bit confused.....I have an Eflight Blade CP Pro....I would like to run it on FMS and maybe another sim if I can get one.

The website shows that the round pin connector works with EFlite on the graphics, however, it does not show that when you go to order...just futaba, esky, etc...no Eflite.

How long to ship to US?

Thanks a bunch!

PS....edit....the website says it is for a circular 6 pin connection, however, the back of my Eflite 6 channel CCPM radio only has a 4 pin connection

That 6 pin is for the hitec, the E flite blade cp tx is a smaller pin.
I belive its a JR radio the e flite but the old JR used what looks like end of a pic plug.

Hi,
The din for Eflite and Esky is diff. from Futaba round. We have diff. connectors for diff. transmitters.

Upon going to the easy ordering page, USD34.00 nett including shipping refers to a purchase of either Futaba round six pin or JR mono or Esky 4 pin etc. You will have to key in your transmitter brand and model in the box provided so that we send you the correct connector.

Shipment to US via registered mail takes around 10days. Of coz' it very much depends on which city as well, +/- a couple of days. Most of them receive within a week or so.

Cheers'

Hello

I have aerofly pro with the serial interface, my cousin recently got an AFPD, i know i cant use the serial interface for AFPD, but is there any way that i can use an serial to USB converter for this AFP cable, so that i can use it with AFPD, i am using a JR 10sx Tx, also i want to ask the USB cable i saw for JR Tx at the Hobby Matrix is mono type, mine AFP cable has a streo type pin, will this work for my JR 10sx.

The best page for USB interfaces i have found is www.rc-devices.com (http://www.rc-devices.com) and i have seen that is the most cheap with diference. The shipping cost to any part of the world is 2€(2,5USD more and less), and product prices are real low.

My question is can i use my current AFP cable for my AFPD using a serial to USB converter, because the AFP has a serial connector.

This is definitely the best price i found, € 32 with the square Futuba jack.
But, very curious about yr experiences with using yr own transmitter versus the esky USB transmitter which sells for € 25,-

I'm trying to get one from GWS as well. The best price I've seen on these type of adapters is about $44 including shipping. Some places are as high as $60. So if this is what it is, its a screamin' deal.

For $13 no need to think it over. So I checked their site.
Call me stupid, but i didn't see any ordering info or webshop.

See this thread at RC groups. I contacted Joyce as mentioned in the thread and joined their earlybird program to order.

I filled out the "Early Bird" free application and should be able to order the cable this evening. Joyce did note that the shipping time for this cable is about 2 weeks.

I also contacted GWS USA and they replied today stating that they do not have the cable in stock yet.

So your options are jump through hoops, wait two weeks, pay $13 OR get one from HobbyMatrix for $44 and get it fast.

Hi,
I think that GWS FMS interface only supports up to 4 channels.
Can't support 8-9 channels radios....
better try this: www.rcusbsimulator.com (http://www.rcusbsimulator.com)
20 bucks more but is compatible to a range of simulators and transmitters...

It looks like Hobbymatrix has very little idea of what he/she is selling! Look at their compatibility page:
http://www.rcusbsimulator.com/transmitter.html
"Unless otherwise stated, all models especially the newer models are compatible with our USB interface."

They seem to have no clue that almost all new Walkera transmitters use only the proprietary Walkera PCM encoding. Are Hobbymatrix' interfaces compatible with Walkera PCM??? I bet not... I'm pretty sure they don't support Walkera 4-ch "Zhen Hua" models or Walkera 6-ch hybrid PPM-PCM models.
Same goes for CCPM transmitters from E-flite and E-Sky.

Do yourself a favour, Google something like "transmitter USB interface", then search various R/C forums for postings about people experience with these vendors.
