The field I fly from normally requires takeoff's from right to left as viewed from the pilots position. I would like to change my G3 photo field runway orientation, but I don't know how. Someone on the RealFlight site said I needed to change the Pilot spawn, but that doesn't seem to make sense.
Any suggestions apreciated.
Thanks,

Hit the H key, you can then move the mouse around and select a new "where you are" location

Bill,
I'll post again from home this evening - G3 is on that machine. H should have brought up a dialog box.
Better yet would be to go to the Realflight forums.

Jeff,
That's where I started, and got no useable answer.
Thanks anyway,

Should be home about 1630, I'll figure it out and reply. Slow day at the airport - wonder if they'd let me fly the MicroJet out on the west ramp? :)

I figured with all the runway construction that LAX would be pretty busy. What do you do there? I used to work for Flying Tigers out of LX.

Bill,
Hit the H key - should bring up the Keyboard Commands menu. Then hit E, which should let you pivot around your plane, mouse wheel changes elevation - left button locks it.
Lots of construction going on. I'm a Sr. Project Manager for the Engineering/PM dept - and if you were ever in Flying Tiger's old bldg on World Way West - I'm in your old office :)

Jeff,
Yes, I can change things using the keys you mention, but these are not permanent. When I change models I am back at the default. I'm looking for a solution to position the model facing left as the default and applies to all models.
Yep the Flying Tiger building on World Way West is where I was up until 1969 when I left to join Lockheed on the L-1011 program.

Small world. ATA still has (1) TriStar around, sits over by the old TWA hangar occasionally.
