I did some testing with the 2212 and I am VERY impressed. Using 7*3MA,7*4APC,and 7*5 APC yielded an avg of 200W! This is a great motor!

The testing was with an ELE advanced series 30A ESC and a EP 20C 2200 11.1V lipo, and an EP20C 1700 11.1v

Temps of the motor never got above ~120F on the stator and 85F on the bell!

Greetings!

I have an EMAX 2212 that I am getting ready to use with a 32" 20 oz. Tiger Moth. Wondering if you did any testing with a 8 x 4 prop?

I am thinking of using 20Amp Power Up ESC and a 3S 1000mah 20C Lipo. Also, most likely a 3A UBEC for my 2.4Ghz radio.

Does this sound like a decent combo to you?

I have not found any data on the 2212 with an 8 x 4 prop.

Thanks!

John
