I have used that silk on an 8 pound Aeromaster with an E Flite 60 for power.
The silk held up just fine.
I've dyed the silk and just used clear dope for the finish too.

Pd1, I just looked at your recommendation for silk and can't believe I didn't look at the link. Wow that silk is very affordable and I believe I might give it a try. Is it strong enough for a kadet señorita? Thanks again for your suggestion!
