Hi, You seem to be very knowledgeable, so i will pose my question. I have purchased a fun cub by multiplex. I would like to do a sunburst out of one of the covering materials. I'm told monocoat won't work because of the heat. Any suggestions? thanks, jim.

Chelly, I could not be happier! Got me a turnigy 9x 2.4G and four (4!) 5gr Hextronix servos just like you suggested! I also got a turnigy 2200 mAh, 3 cell, 11.1V and an EMax CF2812 outrunner, rated for 11.1V. Is it safe to use this battery with the servos and the receiver (Turnigy 9X)? Won't they fry with the 11V? There are four leads on the battery output (red, blue,yellow and black). Does the battery split the voltage somehow?
I feel I will be flying (and posting pictures) soon!

Dear Chellie, as you know I am in Israel. I do not intend to have the average wingspan of my foamies to go much wider than 1 m (3 feet) - that's a size I can fly in any park hear home, so my 2 and 3 years grandchildren can have fun with me (and be duped into beliveving their grandpa is a genius!!!).
I intend to buy from the US a bunch of Hitec 55 servos. Which receiver and transmitter would you recommend? Of course I want a receiver that is light (to match the hitec's only 8 grams... :) )
I have a Futaba conquest FM model FP-6NFK (72 MHz) - do you think the Hitec 55's will work normally with it?
