Hi chopper1 :) the HB V4 heli has a electric motor for the tail rotor, thats controlled by the 5 in 1, The 5 in 1 has to replaced as a complete assembly, thats why i dont like these cheapy helis, because of the 3 in 1, 4 in 1, or 5 in 1 , units. best thing to do is to build your own heli, get a trex 450 clone, from HK $27.00 use the 9 gram HXT servos, $3.19 each, if your radio is 72Mhz, you can use it, with a BERG receiver, get a 7 channel receiver, as you will grow with it, in other helis, use a clone 401 gyro,
