Hi Barry. I live in the Sub Urban areas round Oslo, so all the good flying places are occupied by the Golfers. So it can be difficult to find flying fields, specially for noisy models. But in the Winter we have plenty of fine places, like the frozen fjords and water. I spend whole last Sunday, looking for a field for a glider. But the Golf season are open.
And we can,t use farmers plowed fields now. But the fine thing is that we can't trespass here in Norway. We can go everywhere by the law (citizen right) , so I found a little place for my glider.
Many of the best fields are owned by the community, but they are regulated by the law. And lot of people using them for leisure activities. Now I am planning to use old ski-jumps for soaring. That,s fun and legal.

Hi Arne, Thank you for taking the trouble to post the Komet picture on the build thread. What is the flying scene like in Norway. Are there plenty of open areas to fly in? I guess you get plenty of opportunity to fly off snow during the winter.
