Heli-Max Axe CX Nano - battery issue
Dear friends,
My friend's nano axe does not "recognize" the battery (a lipo 350 mAH, 3.7v, 1.3Wh). He bought it off tower hobbies, which sent him a reposition battery 100% free (to Brazil, mind you! great service). However followed, (our understanding of) his instructions did not solve the glitch. Here is Lennie's answer - any hints to a noob? "Hello, If the battery/charger are OK, try turning on the transmitter and connecting the battery to the model. There is a small button on the back of the board on the right side of the model. Press and hold the button for about 5 seconds to see if linking the board and transmitter will correct the problem. Guys...
Guys, the seller would not furnish us a faulty second set (yes, Lenny sent a new charger and a new battery f.o.c., no questions asked!), so the problem MUST be ignorance of some basic procedure.
Please, any hints? ???? |
When you turn on the TX you want to make sure the throttle is all the way down. That heli has a built in safety where it will not are the all in one unit unless it senses this. Make sure there is no trim on the TX as well. When you turn on the TX does the red light come on? If not then you may have the batteries installed wrong.
If you know the battery is good, (by testing it with a volt meter), then I would say the heli has a faulty all in one unit. |
Will check it out
Zeta, thank you for your time.
I am not a native English speaker, so please clarify this phrase for me: "That heli has a built in safety where it will not are the all in one unit unless it senses this." Maybe it was truncated? |
Sorry for the confusion, I really need to proof read my my typing as I tend to make a lot of mistakes. What I meant to say is that the all in one unit will not arm unless the throttle is all the way in the down position, or unless it senses there is 0% throttle. So make sure that the throttle is all the way down and there is no trim on the throttle.

Got it!
Thank you, Zeta, and do not worry: smart people have thoughts faster than their hands.
Now I got it, and we'll try it out. Thanks! Aharon |
