DONT BE AFRAID OF THE DARK!
SEFSD ANNOUNCES NIGHT FLYING


Night flying is fast becoming one of the hottest trends in RC.
Don't be left in the dark, come on down to the field every 2nd Saturday of the month, from sunset until whenever.
Quads and Helicopters, foamies and scale! If it flys, and it has lights, PLAN TO ATTEND! First Session is March 10, 2012.

Open flying in the dark skies of Mission Bay. Rarely are there any winds at all, you can usually fly the lightest of indoor ships without issue.
There are many club members that have lights and use the field at night, so charge your batteries and come down on the second Saturday of each month for a group night session..
Just like Electroglide, we will have one group night flying session every month, and there's no cost to participate in the fun.
You can come down and learn about lights, different methods of illumination and flying in the dark.

Come on down and see what is flying the night skies over Mission Bay, and join the fun!

Our first night meet was a great success. We had a dozen pilots and about 25 spectators. All types of aircraft were flown, Warbird Scale, Flat Foamies, 3D ships and sport aircraft. Helicopters too! I made a 'parachute guy' with lights, and was dropping him all night.

Nice turnout...wish I was there. Next time try to get a group picture of the pilots with all the aircraft. We did that last year with our half dozen that fly together at night in central Texas.
