It seems to me that I remember a thread about adding motor and controlls to these and flying combat. Any one ever hear about this?

I'm converting one now. Picked-up two of them at Target.

Look for Scoote621 here.http://stevesrcaddiction.wordpress.com/ He's an expert on these conversions. A lot of variations: pusher, nose mounted motor, alierons or not, top fuse mounted pusher, EDF, Cut off wing span or not, etc.

There are threads on rcgroups also.

Good stuff. I think I will have fun with this. Lot's of options. Starting with a clipped wing, motor on front version with left over parts recycled from retired, well, destroyed, foamies. But I can envison a twin, floater, etc.
