The menu system is very intuitive and easy to use, unlike some other transmitters on the market today that require studying of the manual to operate. It can operate on 4 x AA size Alkaline, NiMH or NiCD cells, but also features an in-built JST plug in the battery compartment allowing you to use a 2 cell LiFE or LiPO pack as well! The transmitter's low voltage battery alarm is adjustable via the menu to suit whichever battery chemistry you choose. Because the T-SIX operates on DSM2, it is compatible with our full range of OrangeRx DSM2 receivers. We offer everything from 4CH micro to 9CH full-range receivers, all at a price that can't be beat! Wow that is one ugly looking beast! :)
Who is going to be first? I am curious if it has 3 position switches, and if the throttle stick can activate the timer. OK price and nice to have a backlit display too. I also like the multiple battery type support built in. I wonder if they will bring it to the US warehouse or stick to China.... Mike |

And it apparently doesn't have 3 positions switches. It seems to almost an exact clone of the 6DXi. |
They really went out of the way to make that one pig ugly! I guess for the price you cant complain but would it have been more expensive to use black or silver plastic?
|
I think I would have to do, masking tape and a spray can.

ORANGE: Not just a name, it's a way of life!
(My eyes! they burn!) I think to be a hot item it needs to be priced a good bit less than a used DX6i. |

Good point. The Orange RX is DSM2 only, not DSMX.

You're right, it is a AR6115 receiver. I'd looked at the wrapper on this receiver. The wrapper indicates "DSM" on it. But, it is a park flyer receiver, and probably won't be put in the air in any of my models. |
