World models voodoo .46 e conversion
 

Ok guys my voodoo just came in yesterday. I mocked it up and I'm deciding on a powerplant. It should weight in around 7lbs, 57.5" wingspan and I was thinking about running an eflite power 52 with a castle creations phoenix ice or ice lite 100 on a 6s 4500-5000mah lipo. And something around an 10x10, 11 or 12x8 prop. How does this setup sound? Any other advice I should know before I dive into my first conversion head first?

Would I be better using stantions? Or build a ply motor box? Ect......

Don't know if you will need a 100A ESC, but a Power 52 with a 12x8E prop on 6s sounds good to me. I would start with a 75A ESC hooked up to a wattmeter and see how many watts you're getting with that 6s battery. I would experiment with other prop sizes as well. Usually, the larger the batteries (more cells) the less amps. Very good chance you won't need a 100A ESC. Seems a bit much. Good luck to you friend.
