is it possible to combine 2ch into 1?
i have an FS TH9X and was wondering if i could combine two channels into one (ailerons and rudder)? i guess what i am trying to get at is, operating both the ailerons and rudder by using the aileron switch? has anyone done this before?
thank you |

thats great guys!! i was able to program it. now my last question is, is it possible to use an on/off (AUX) button to switch between the 2 mode? basically, i want to have control over all the channels, but once i flip the switch i get the mix in (combining 2 channels in 1)?

Also join the FlySky group I started ... which caters more for the un-modified 9x and others of the FlySky range.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Flysky_RC_radio/ Yes it is possible to switch the mixing on / off ... using usually the 3 position switch top right centre. The 9x is far more capable of things than many realise - but it does have it's own quirky style of language ... We also have the manuals links in GOOD english without watermarks etc. Nigel |

To be perfectly honest - I don't know ! Ask on the group - someone with far greater knowledge than I will answer.
Personally I use the top left centre knob to control flaps - full turned left is zero ... full turned right is 30 degrees down flap. It gives me proportional control of flaps instead of sudden steps as with the 3 position. By rolling my middle finger across the knob - I am able to go from full left to full right ... so I know what amount I use by position of my finger. The other with the 3 position switch - it needs to be tricked to not default to OFF - ON - OFF ... why they did that I have no idea ! Nigel |
Thank you for your reply solentlife. i was wondering though, how did you program you flaps to function with the left knob?

The set-up is also on the group ... it's in the files section if I remember right ... this is Flaperons... To have just flaps - then I would Y lead 2 servos of the Aux ch and set the knob to operate the servos. No need to go into Flaperon settings. (I'd have to check up on this later - as it's late at night here ... I'm in a different part of the house from the radio and it's time for me to sleep !! But I will get back on this ! ..) Nigel |
