HobbyKing Altimeter Calibration?

Evening,
Just purchased a Hobby King Altimeter. The software is awful......but I worked it out.

However, do I have to calibrate the altimeter for height? How does it know its starting altitude? If its pressure dependent, surely the 'starting' altitude depends on the climate, weather, air pressure???

cheers

Ian

No problem, sorted it. I wasn't being thick, totally un-intuitive software!!
