Walkera V450D01 Brushless Edition
 

Got sick of waiting for Banana Hobby, so I cancelled that order, and ordered from another company the Walkera V450D01 B.E. with the Devo7 TX, should be here week after next. I hate waiting, but from what I've seen and read online, should suit my needs to a "T". Time keeps ticking, tick-tick-ticking away...did I mention I hate waiting?

Walkera makes some nice helis, I had a Hobby People Shogun, which was a Walkera 36 I belive, it was a 400 size heli, brushed, but i installed a brushless motor in it, and it was a great flier after that, If your just starting out with helis, use Wood Rotor Blades when learning, Reason being, the plastic and fiberglass blades will tear up your heli in a crash, where the wood blades will splinter and absorb the shock and lessen the damage, get some training gear too, I am Building a t rex 450 clone Heli right now, its looking nice, i was able to buy a custom painted Canopy for it on EBay for $5.00 and free shipping :D it really looks Nice, See How Cheap I am ;) Take care and have fun, Chellie

Been messing around with a Blade Nano CPX to the point where I can tail-in hover, and do slow tail-in circles in a 12x12 kitchen and land reasonably close to where I started, and so far have only busted the landing gear, but those things are so delicate they break if you look at them wrong. Then I discovered the "bullet blades" that come in the bag of parts make this little bird SO much more stable and controllable, but then again, I feel using those blades is "cheating", so I'm gonna pop the longer blades back on that it had out-of-box, but that's the one I've been practicing with in anticipation of the 450's arrival...

It's a pretty good sized helicopter, should be easy to see with the green canopy. Can't wait to fly it, or at least try!
