The World Models Company China

I have their Ultimate EP biplane in wood ... brilliant flyer ... very happy ! Just wish I hadn't crashed it recently !! Stupid of me to try a Tuck and Under from inverted at too low an altitude ... caught the long grass and in she cartwheeled !

Anyway - repairs are well on their way ... but I thought I would give her a 'make-over'... that is new wheel spats, Interplane struts, cowl and complete set of decals as I'm going to recover airframe ... yes I could make most of them... but for $35 - I get the whole lot.

I contacted TWM via their online site .... and very quickly was offered FREE shipping for the items ..

I would like to post this as a Thankyou to TWM for excellent Customer Service and a fine model.

Ditto on their service. I had a problem I couldn't get resolved on a 120 scale Corsair from NitroPlanes, imagine that.

Sent an email to World Models about it. Got a reply from "Cheryl" there, and the replacement parts showed in about a week. Oh and they were shipped from NitroPlanes of all places.

I have also had good experience with them.

You're ordering from them direct, from here?

Absolutely .... we have no dealer left in Latvia since Pilotage.Lv shut down. Even when Pilotage was operating - it was cheaper to go direct .. plus Pilotage usually didn't have the part and would have to order from same direct source !

There are 4 Chinese sources that I have excellent dealings with :

The World Models
RC Timer
Skyartec
Chunqianguan

I remember I used to get stuff from Radar Co when I lived in New Zealand some 37 years ago. They have been around forever.

Just ask on here and soon you'll have links / suggestions of sellers of all sorts !! And also note that people like Nitro, Banana etc. only sell on factory stock lines. Nothing wrong with that as they need to sell what sells !!

The model that started this thread has now been rebuilt using the old gear ... so at least I can use it till I get the new parts ...

From both wings, front of fuselage smashed, cabane fixings broken out, U/C plate ripped out, battery hatch and rails destroyed ...........

I basically was inverted low and stupidly did a tuck and under inverted loop out ... too low - she cartwheeled .....

But here she is in new colour scheme ... (the old was too similar top and bottom at distance !) ...

Underside is now plain white for a complete difference.

When I get the new parts ... I will change the fuselage scheme as well ...
