The list of things to bring

Just like the title says. Here is a place to list things to bring to SEFF.

E-Z up
chairs
small table
comfortable shoes
sun glasses
hat
sun screen
camera / video recorder
eye drops
chap stick

Thats all I have for now. Feel free to add more.

Ya I want one of those SEFF tee shirts honoring Ric. I never met him, but he sounds like he was one heck of a guy.

Aside from the obvious flight and repair gear....

Camp soap if youre using the SEFF showers, as well as some flip flops for that. If you have allergies plenty of meds for that. Pain releiver of choice, an extra pair of contacts if you wear them. Your cell phone charger. An umbrella and tarp just in case. Even if youre like me and wear shorts year round, bring some pants and a coat, as it can get cold at night.

Definitely. It only takes one trip to the Walmart at 2 am for sweats to remember that one!

weathervane 03-15-2013 11:05 AM

Sounds like you have made that trip before.:<::<::D:D:D

it's comforting to know there is a 24 hour Wal-Mart near by

Nice rig! I can see why John is making the stop on his way down

Yes it is, Walmart is not too far away at all, about a ten minute ride into town. Americus is small but has about everything you would need.

And thanks on the rig. We picked it up last month. Traded in our old Trail Vision for it. It was getting really hard to get 1/4 scale planes through the one single door on it.

stevecooper 03-15-2013 03:27 PM

Chilly mornings are kinda the norm at SEFF,, I just walk around like a lost puppy with a empty coffee cup till I get to to Bill's,,,,,,,bubsteve

I am fortunate that Bill is being a gracious host, and letting me hitch a ride with him.

weathervane 03-16-2013 01:52 AM

I was lucky enough to ride down with him two years ago. I can say this. It was so nice to ride down and camp in style with him. This year he has even more style. :tc::tc::tc::tc:

I just enjoy getting to share the experience with others, especially someone coming for the first time.

The year my buddy Phil from our club came with us was pretty cool too.

Maybe I should hold an auction each year to see who gets to go with me!:D (Just kidding of course)

coreman 03-16-2013 11:39 AM

it should be a very interesting experience. I will say that the whole idea of it is somewhat overwhelming so it will be interesting. Being so soon after Toledo and getting product together for it makes it even more so.
