Just a prop change!
I like sharing stuff like this because its so basic, yet so important for a better flying airplane..part of the learning process....i bought a PZ Sukhoi SU26M on Ebay a little while ago..its in great shape and a good deal...i flew it last SAT and the first thing i realized is that it was very down on power, and sounded like it was over propped.....so i compared the prop that was on it to the prop that comes with an SU26XP....WAY bigger diameter (stock prop),so i tried the stock XP prop on the plane this morning, and the plane flew much better...higher revs, more power....not mind blowing, but now the plane climbs, loops, and cuts through wind much, much better! It rolls at least as good as my Beast, and all it took was a simple prop change! Its always nice to try something and get positive results!:)
Indeed so simple and sometimes the results are awesome!
Its also worth considering different props for different conditions ... high wind means more pitch ... no wind and verticals means diameter ... etc.
You can tune a performance with prop as well as motor. Most of us though sort a general suits all prop and that's it ... but worth thinking about.
