Just when ya think ya might be gettin to be a decent pilot........ya go out and do something so DUMB!:censor::eek::rolleyes: Flyin my TM this AM..... the easiest, slowest plane one could fly, i decide to get cute and go around a 60' high concrete pole...if i TRIED to hit it, i couldnt even come close....BUT NOOOO i nailed it DEAD ON! Parts comin off, and on the way down, to add insult to injury, it smacks into the lower set of lights! And this was the plane my dear, departed friend gave me for Christmas a few years ago....but i could feel his presence, and he was telling me to pull another plane out of the van, fly it, then go home and fix the WRECK! I did, and im glad i listened to 'em!:) Ill try 'er out tomorrow if the wind God is in a good mood!

No one is immune to that. A couple of months ago I was flying my Flyzone Acro-Wot MKII and did a couple of beautiful spins. After another couple of rolls and loops I decided to do one more spin, but this time, the plane was too far away; I lost orientation and down she went. (Sigh)

Chucksolo, i guess its like the guy on here says(cant remember his handle) "If your gonna flyem, your gonna have ta fix 'em!! I have been gettin alot of practice fixin 'em lately!!

Me too. I was flying my GP Super Sportster 40" foamie version last week and hit a sign at the field. It chopped the nose of cleanly. A little Beacon Foam-Tac and she flies as good as ever and the break is quite unnoticeable. Over the last couple of years I have gotten pretty good at fixin' em.
