:Qhttp://i.ebayimg.com/images/m/mwfPRL...Q/s-l225/p.jpg this came to my email from ebay as a item picked by them just for me:confused:,well......i bought it cause it just seemed to good a deal to let go. my use for it will be limited to testing voltage in lipos. I'm just glad this baby was sold as used .if i bought a new one without telling my wife there would be trouble.it should be delivered before my wife gets home from a trip to the inlaws in Florida so i have a few days to use it and show her how important a tool in the man cave this is:D.

Yup
Some of that electronic testing stuff can really get $$$$ real fast.

We had several of these Omicron test sets in our office before retiring. You know they are expensive when they don't publish the price. (We paid some $45K Each with accessories.)

???For some reason, wattflyer won't provide a direct line to the web site.???

Setting up labs is expensive .... I know - I did it for years as Boss in Petrochemical biz ... my own and for Multi-national companies.

But resale is a joke - as resale prices are so low it's a farce.

Anyone who pays top $ on resale items should be getting latest versions with all bits and bobs !

I've just sold of my Lab in Riga ... and I will NOT be retiring soon !!

click on the picture to get to the ebay site. go figure, ebay sends me adverts for items that they think i might like based on past purchases and searches.

today they send these testing items ranging in prices of several grand to the big $109,000.00:Q. oh yeah, they included edf fan units and a few other misc RC items. like i would by a $20 edf fan and $100,000 for kicks:cool:.

Guess you really have to watch what you pay for something in Ebay.

Here is a brand new unit from the mfg. With options about the same as the Ebay price.

WTF is it; a flux capacitor?:<:

tobydogs 03-15-2014 04:09 PM

flux capaisitor: controls ions/electrons flowing through the framistat which is the conciliators fluctuating numismatic nerve center. good grief flywheel...that's electric RC plane setup 101,every one should know this before ever plugging your battery in or turning on the TX.[jk]

as far as turning this unit on,the button in lower left hand corner is the on off switch.......as for me, i just yank the plug out of the wall though cause I'm to lazy to reach up and push the button.

i used this unit again today to test a 2cell lipos voltage and the dreaded white smoke poured out the back, thank goodness the warranty is good as i fear these units are just cheap junk, may spring for the $200,000.00 unit. just have to run it by my better half first.:Q for some reason she's not talking to me since returning home from the in-laws. she doesn't want to hear about the new tools i bought while she was away. go figure,a set of allen keys, new screw driver, omicron test scope.:ws:
