They're great planes. I just fished mine out of a neighbor's tree.

Blimey what a time consuming build. Used 2 tubes of UHU POR and worked on it for about 9 hours. All ready to maiden. I have set it up as per instructions in a build video I found with flaps and spoilers and also flaperons and spoilerons. Should be fun seeing what it can do. Weather here is rubbish at the moment but should be OK ish by Saturday. Shame I don't have an indoor venue large enough to fly it in.

Well I have put about 20 batteries through it and tried just about everything. It weighs 10 ounces including battery. Underpowered on 2s setup with 9 x 47 prop but better on 3s setup with 8 x 43 prop. She does everything like it's in slow motion and hangs off prop at half throttle. Good model to practice your 3d on. Seems to just hang in the air. Even when you get it wrong she just hangs there while you work out which way up you are etc. You can fly these in pretty tight spaces too cause of slow speed and large control surfaces. Definitely worth the building time.

cool i was thinking of getting one of these ... what 3s battery did you use.

Wow neat plane...doesn't look like it would be anything more than a trainer style plane.

It may make a good trainer with reduced throws. I used Rhino 610 mah 3s batteries from Hobbyking.
