50 mm edf plan easy to build?

Hello to everybody,
Someone has a plan for building an easy model for a 50 mm edf?

Many thanks in advance,
Gianluca.

Solentlife(Nigel) built a Concorde from twin 50mm edf's Might want to check with him on plans. There are hundreds of free plans for foamie park jets intended for pusher props but many could easily be converted to edf. Just won't fly as well. Try googling rc pusher park jets.

For me, the 50mm Jpowers Skyangel airframe only kits are cheaper to buy than to build. But if you like to build for the fun and satisfaction, go for it.

Let us know what you come up with.

Good luck !

These are good .... if you can live without building it !!

JPowers T45 50mm .... (Skyangel / Hobby King Mini series)

Here's the Concorde Hawk mentioned ... simple box build with twin 50mm EDF's ...

Go to Scratch build section and $75 Twin EDF Concorde thread for full build and photos etc.

Nigel's Concorde build was outstanding. Makes you think you're at Heathrow just watching the fly-by's. Great looking.

I too have the T-45 and also have the T-33, F-18 and Screamer. Current favorite is the Screamer and you can get the kit for less than $50.00 if you already ready have the 50mm edf and esc. Whole setup for less than $100.00. This plane hauls the mail ! Have a Dr. Mad Thrust 3300KV 10 blade and it sounds more like a jet than a vacuum cleaner. Swoosh !

Testing my old Red Arrows T-45 with a Don's Wicked 4800KV 4 blade setup running with a 4S 1300mah 40C. Should bring new life to this bird.

Some of my buddies have converted "prop in the slot" foam board jobs to edf and have been completely disappointed. Comparatively, the pusher props will outperform the edf version all day long. Mikey's RC has a few interesting DYI edf plans

I did build a 70mm Saab Viggen from Dollar tree foam. Bought the laser cut parts for $39.00 and the motor, esc, servo combo pack for $46.00. A nice flyer but not as fast as my 50mm jobs if you're into speed.
