70mm Airframe

Looking for a 70mm airframe only. Thought I had one, but fell through. Would like to be less than $100. This is for a single 70mm setup that I already have.

Jesse,

I too was looking to recycle my Detrum 70mm setup and wound up buying a T-50 kit from F-hobby. I think it was $89.00 plus shipping driving it up to $122.00. Includes retracts, retractable canopy etc. Was also looking at the F-20 from Great planes . Not sure I can squeeze a 70 in there though. The stock setup is a 56mm hyperflw whatever that is. Major surgery.

I also built the dollar tree foam kit from Flite-test called the Saab Viggen. Uses a 70mm . Cost $39.00 for laser cut parts. Flies great but it's a homebuilt foamie.

Dynam had a few models calling for 70mm including the ME-262 twin.

HK has the SAPAC T-45 for $45.00 and I think a 70mm can be squeezed in there.

Inexpensive edf kits or airframe only's are hard to come by these days. FMS used to have them but they've all gone arf or pnp now.

Let us know what you find and I'll do the same.
