As the day progressed on Friday, more and more people arrived at the field. Weather conditions were excellent in the morning, evening, and night. A bit windy in the afternoon but not too bad. Folks flew all day and long into the night. Noon demos were a lot of fun to watch.

All kinds of planes were up in the air all day long from DLG's to Quads to 150mph+ screaming demons.

There were a lot of scratch builds at the field and planes from pristine to lots of "character" flying at the same time.

Mac Hodges new lake was in great shape too. They flew sea planes there and ran electric boats from daylight till long after dark.

The vendors had more products out than they had on Thursday. A lot of the vendors were demoing their products during the day.

The GiaNormans were prepped for flight and then the noon demos began.

This year I sat on the left side of the flight line for the Noon Demos. Unfortunately the darkside was not with one of the GiaNormans' and it went in. Elevator problems may have caused the crash.

Dat be too true! SEFF is a blast every year. The Noon Demos ended with Mac flying his B-29. I checked on the GiaNormans while Mac did his stuff.

A new event this year was a Combat Paint Ball Shoot. Nick King was one of the top dogs in the surviving category. He was flying a plane he made from plans by: http://flitetest.com/ The Flitetest planes sure do take a beating. Nick made five frames and three flight pods so he has plenty to fly.

His plane took a lot of hits and even had a paintball stuck in the wing. There were some other interesting planes out there. Even a bikers dream plane. (More the Harley guys, not me.)

There was a UAV demo that evening and I apologize for missing that, I was throwing my DLG for a bit.

Now back to the flying...visiting with friends....and wandering around.

More afternoon and evening flying. There hasn't been a lot of unplanned carnage this year.

Folks were still flying after 1am in the morning. Friday was another fantastic day.

I plan to get some stick time in today so won't be taking a lot of photos!

You should put it on your bucket list one heck of a great time, and awesome folks to hang out with. I won't miss SEFF next year.

Don thanks for posting the photos fun to kick back and see people I know, and play back last years SEFF in my head.

What happened to Phil's GiaNorman lose a servo?
