New "Old Timer"

With the heat of July setting in, flying is limited due to the high winds...at least for me. Doing some reading/research of the "old timers"...I have always had a soft spot for the simpler times of just flying around in a relaxed fashion. Have been looking at various sites offering kits for old timer type of airplanes...and an idea crept into my head. Having a super cub...and a radian...it occured to me that a marriage of the radian wing to the super cub...would give me the essence of a "New Old Timer". Now if the summer winds would abate, I plan on giving this combination a try...just to see if I get the slow flying, lazy, sit ina lawn chair, smiling to myself flying.
