GWS Tiger Moth Battery Dimensions

Can anyone tell me the maximum dimensions---length, width, and height---of the battery compartment on the GWS Tiger Moth 400. I am particularly interested in the length of the compartment. Thanks. Gary

The battery compartment on the GWSTiger Moth 400 measures approx. 6" long, 2" wide & 5/8" deep.

It has a little room to modify width & depth.....but length can be an issue since any longer will intrude into the firewall.

You can extend it a little bit if you must. On one of mine, I needed the battery as far forward as possible. I built a 'tray' that runs right up to the back of the motor. That gave me another inch or two.
