Found the problem. As per above advice decided to check conn. between esc and motor. The first wire I cut the shrink wrap off of I saw it right off. The wire from the motor was not properly...

Testing this used motor on bench with 8x6 prop, 40 amp exceedrc esc, 3S Lipo. Using transmitter and rx to controll. When I start it up, motor runs backwards for 2-3 revs then reverses. At about 3/4...

Gramps, I tried to stick balsa to saran wrap with thin CA, it won't stick. CHELLY's right. CA won't stick to baking parchment paper either, your're right on that, but baking paper is white, harder...

This is a great forum!! I'm not exactly new, I flew some electric way back in '85. Had a good rc hobby shop near me. But then my flying buddy moved away, other interests etc. so I sold all my stuff...
