should my A123's hold the voltage level , or do the drop off even though the capacity is still there.

5 seems high, but 25 amps wow. Surprised they put up with that.

I don't think a volt meter will read the cells or overall voltage right. If I am wrong, I would like to know.
The "EDT-207L" is the first tester/balancer/ readout device I have seen on the market...

I have read lately that it is not good to store A123's in the cold in our Michigan winters.

you talked about balancing, and you should every time. Most don't leave the lipo's unattended while charging.

Lipo fires

Hi,
not sure if you got the info about Lipo fires. I have been using for some time and had only one go bad on me. It did not catch fire, but got VERY HOT at a fly-in. Had to put it on the ground...

storage charge

you don't need to run them on a storage charge . when they come new, they are at a lower charge when delivered to you.

You will need to charge them to max before flying. they should be 4.2...

I have a amp meter and the Esc is a 90 amp castle.

Its drawing 65 amps now, there is enough power to fly it.

snap roll

I did a snap roll test, slowed it down to a crawl and no snap roll.

Not all planes snap roll at slow speeds and mine did not. I have had several P51's and the flaps help on the hot ones.

I use the deans/T-plugs also.

I use a 4 cell , 4000 mAh lipo and it works well good flight time.

I mostly go 1c charge, as I have 5 chargers . two small ones that will do 4 amps and big one that does up to 30 amps for two batterys at a time. the 5th just does the TX. I try and charge the day...
