I lost a good friend today.
She pretty much augured in from appx. 150 ft. high.
The ESC, battery and battery are a loss, as well as the airframe.

From my experience, once you get it that close you are fine tuning the balance and either way should be flyable. If you have to choose one or the other I like a bit tail heavy better....
