Having programmed and using both the 10xp, along with a number of PL6 and PL8's, IMHO, the PL6 and PL8's are much easier to use.

My opinion, go for the PL6 or PL8. You won't regret it!

The PL6 is limited to six series Cells, the PL8 is good for 8 series cells. So if you ever want to get into the larger electrics, PL8 is a good choice.
