Seriously thinking about getting out of electric boats, 200$ for a set of batteries for a 30" boat is just dumb......

Trim for level flight, put it into a dive, if it pulls out you are nose heavy if the dive steepens you are tail heavy.

Simply buy the highest "C" rating you can within reason, 40C is pretty common and cheap nowadays.
You will have lower internal resistance meaning the batteries will run cooler and last much longer...
